Milkshake Recipes for Hot Days
I am a massive fan of milkshakes, particularly on hot days, so I have collected several recipes over the years and thought I would share my favourites with the blog.
Cherry Vanilla
This recipe is a very simple and delicious alternative to ice cream during the summer. All you need for it is:
- 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 2 handfuls of cherries (preferably frozen)
- A splash of milk
Then just blend together until smooth! For a more distinct cherry taste, cherry ice cream can be used as an alternative to the vanilla.
Oreo Cheesecake
This milkshake is one of my personal favourites. To make it, blend together a mix of:
- 3 scoops of cookies n' cream ice cream
- 1/2 tablespoon of cream cheese
- A splash of milk
- 1-2 handfuls of Oreos
S'Mores
Again, all you need to do for this recipe is blend the ingredients until smooth. You will require:
- 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- A handful of marshmallows
- Chocolate sauce (to your taste)
- A splash of milk
Peanut Butter Brownie
Chunky or smooth peanut butter works for this, but I tend to prefer smooth. Blend together:
- 3 scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream
- A handful of brownie bites
- A splash of milk
- 2 tablespoonfuls of peanut butter
Salted Caramel Pretzel
The final recipe that I would like to share today is a slightly controversial one, but don't knock it till you try it. Blend up:
- 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- Salted caramel sauce (to your taste)
- 1-2 handfuls of pretzels
- And a splash of milk
Enjoy!
