Amber and Klar Review: PLL Season 7B Premiere

*****THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR SEASON 7B OF PRETTY LITTLE LIARS*****

I know it's been a little while since we done one of these together, but if you've noticed, we have been trying to blog more frequently, and we have a couple of really exciting collabs coming up soon! We also both watch Pretty Little Liars and shortly before the beginning of the second (and final) part of the seventh (and final) season, we did actually have to remind ourselves of what on earth was happening in PLL.

Favourite part:

K: Caleb!! I'm so glad that they (him and Hanna) are back together

A: Hanna again gets kudos, but this time with Mona, who she shared the beautiful lines of 'Do you trust me?' and 'Sometimes'. Mona has recently been seen a lot with Spencer, but things are seeming to come full circle (including bloody Alison returning to a 16-year-old ice queen apparently) so I enjoyed this.

Least favourite part:

A: YES SHE LOOKED SO HEARTBROKEN 

AND SPENCER WAS LIKE 'YOU'RE NOT MY MUM' AND I WAS LIKE YES YES SHE IS

K: Exactly, she raised you, you ungrateful bitch

A: *bangs on table with agreement*

Opinion as a season opener:

K: I thought it was good but it wasn't as dramatic as usual because the storylines had already been set up.

A: I actually like this game thing (despite it being wholly unrealistic) so I think more time of them actually playing it rather than Hanna's bloody clothes line drama would have been more gripping.

Opinions on the PLL couples:

K: I've already said about my love for Haleb

A: I thought their adorable conversation in bed was pretty good tbh <3

K: #spoby

A: I would say yes I ship them but not while Yvonne is in a coma because that's just a dick move

K: Ezria, I'm not sure how that's going to end but I kinda hope she ends up with Jason

A: I love Ezria SO MUCH, but their storyline feels a little dead at the moment

K: YEs, that's why I'm feeling Jasria

A: I'm so tornnnnnn

K: And I really hope Emison doesn't happen, Emily belongs to Maya

A: Maya is dead though...

K: Yeah but that in itself is bullshit

A: I kind of hate Paige and Ali because they're both emotionally manipulative fucks who just use Emily #emaya

Overall:

K: It's got me really hyped for the remaining episodes!
A: Same, without questioning the idea on how one iPhone can power a whole game when mine won't let me open Facebook for more than 10 seconds, I think this endgame idea is cool, as well as a nice pun.

A: Things are supposed to come full circle... so maybe Mona again? Or Ali???
