Story Time ft. Gingerbread

My boyfriend is the sweetest person I know, so earlier this week he suggested we bake gingerbread together as he knows I love it. I'd had a pretty bad day and he knew it would cheer me up so I went over to his house in the evening and we whipped up a few adorable gingerbread families (complete with a mother, father, son and daughter the cutters were so cute!). He'd picked up loads of sweets and coloured icing so we could decorate them too. We had a lot of fun, despite not choosing the best recipe and I'd definitely recommend doing this with your friends or partners. The only real moral to this story is, however, it is important to add the eggs a little at a time, not all at once as my boyfriend tried to do ;)
